This tour is intended for students interested in transferring to EMU from a community college or 4 year college/university.

Please note: During the summer months, some buildings may have limited access, and you may not see the full level of student activity typically present during the fall and winter semesters. However, our team will provide insight into campus life, academics, and what you can expect as a future student.

Weather Policy: At EMU, our motto is: Rain, sleet, or snow...tours must go! We do our best to showcase our campus in all weather conditions; however, safety is always our top priority. If Eastern Michigan University is closed due to weather or other circumstances, all campus tours and events will be canceled.

☀️ Hot Weather:  When the heat index reaches 95°F or higher, tours will be abbreviated with more indoor stops and shaded rest points. If the heat index reaches 100°F or higher, we reserve the right to move tours indoors or cancel/reschedule for the safety of our guests and student staff.

⛈ Severe Weather: In the event of severe conditions (e.g. tornado warnings), tours may be adjusted, postponed, or cancelled based on current conditions. We will do our best to anticipate severe weather, but cannot always guarantee advanced notice.
